Obi Pasture Company was founded by Dan Cork and Jake Sullivan in Maleny, Queensland — two mates with deep roots in Australian agriculture.
They wanted to reconnect farmers with their customers, children with their food, and families with the land.
Obi raises pasture-fed beef in the hills of Maleny — looking after the cattle, looking after the land, and producing bloody good beef along the way.
Why we created Obi
We wanted to bridge the disconnect between communities and their food. Importantly, we wanted our kids to grow up knowing where food comes from, how it’s raised and the work behind it. Obi gives our families that connection to the land — and lets us share it with yours.

We raise cattle on pasture in Maleny and surrounds, then sell our beef direct to YOU! Every cut comes straight from our farm.
Obi has fewer layers, more transparency and true provenance. You will always know exactly where your beef comes from.

Our cattle spend their days grazing open green pastures, with plenty of space, sunshine and minimal stress — raised naturally, the way nature intended.
