1. How Do I Order?
Order Beef Boxes or Bulk Beef directly through our website. Individual cuts and other Farm Shop products are available from our Witta Farm Shop.
2. Are Beef Boxes fresh or frozen?
Our Beef Boxes are supplied snap-frozen and ready for your freezer.
3. Can I choose the cuts in a Beef Box?
Our Beef Boxes are curated to give you a balanced mix of cuts. Exact contents are shown on each product page.
4. How does Bulk Beef pricing work?
Bulk Beef is priced by dressed weight. You pay a deposit to secure your order, then the final balance is calculated from the actual dressed weight at the advertised $/kg rate.
5. What sizes can I buy?
We currently offer 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 Cow.
6. How much freezer space do I need?
As a guide, a 1/8 Beef is typically around 31–40kg, a 1/4 around 62–80kg and a 1/2 around 125–160kg. Actual weight varies from animal to animal.
7. Can I choose my cuts with Bulk Beef?
There is more flexibility with larger Bulk Beef orders. We’ll work with you before processing where applicable.
8. Where do you deliver?
Maleny and surrounds, the Greater Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast.
9. How much is delivery?
Free delivery around Maleny and surrounds. Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast delivery is $35 under $250 and free on orders $250 and over.
10. Can I collect my order?
Yes. Free pickup is available from the Obi Pasture Co. Farm Shop in Witta.
11. Where is the Farm Shop?
Our Obi Farm Shop is at 314 Tesch Road, Witta QLD 4552, just outside Maleny.
12. What do you sell at the Farm Shop?
A rotating range of individual beef cuts, mince, sausages, broth, tallow and seasonal local products.
13. Is the Farm Shop family friendly?
Yes. Families are welcome. There are farm animals to see and feed, and beautiful views across the Witta and Lake Baroon area.
14. Where is your beef raised?
Our cattle are raised on pasture in Maleny and surrounding areas.
15. Is your beef grass fed and finished?
Our cattle are raised and on open pastures in Maleny and surrounding areas.
16. Do you use Bovaer?
No. We do not use Bovaer in our cattle.
17. Do you use added hormones?
No added hormonal growth promotants are used.
18. Do you use antibiotics?
No beef sold through Obi has been given antibiotics.
19. Do you use mRNA vaccines?
We do not use mRNA vaccines in our cattle.
