Refund policy
Return & Refund Policy
At Obi Pasture Co., we take pride in the quality and care of our beef.
Perishable products
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind once an order has been collected or delivered.
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or you believe there is a problem with the quality of a product, please contact us as soon as possible after receiving your order. Where possible, please include photographs and details of the issue so we can assess it promptly.
Bulk beef orders and deposits
Bulk beef is sold by dressed weight. The weights and total prices shown when ordering are estimates only. Your final price is calculated using the actual dressed weight of your allocated beef at the advertised price per kilogram.
The deposit paid when ordering is applied to the final purchase price, with the remaining balance payable once the final dressed weight is known.
If you need to cancel or change a bulk beef order, please contact us as early as possible. Because cattle, processing and butchering are scheduled specifically for bulk orders, deposits may become non-refundable once processing has been booked or commenced. We will let you know if this applies to your order.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product does not meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy as provided by law.
Contact us
For any issue with an order, please contact Obi Pasture Co. using the contact details provided on our website.
One thing I deliberately wouldn't write is simply “all deposits are non-refundable.” Your current wording gives you protection once you've actually committed cattle/processing to the customer's order, without trying to override Australian consumer rights.
